Established in 2008 in Cairns, our team ethos of putting client and candidates first, combined with personal, outstanding service has enabled us to develop an enviable pool of talented clinicians and medical specialists.  Our network stretches from all major urban hubs and branches out to the far corners of Australia, in the full range of medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, aged care, sports and health centres.

Our commitment to candidates

Right from the very beginning of your interaction with the Aussie Locums team, we ensure we take time to explain how we work which includes understanding what your preferred methods of communication are. Naturally, this can vary depending on your circumstances. Some candidates for example, are located overseas and whilst we do prefer the more personal nature of phone or video calls, being available via messenger platforms, or even text message or email, may suit you better.

We work hard to identify opportunities which align with your ideal job and will never forward your resume without your permission.

It's all in the detail

Starting a new role can be daunting, particularly if you’re arriving from overseas. We take the stress out of it as much as we can.

We book travel and provide comprehensive information packs which detail local shopping and restaurant information which is particularly useful for the more remote and rural locations. If wi-fi isn’t readily available, we can include data packs and will even provide food and other supplies if the shops are closed when you arrive.
