A little about the role:
You will be a competent sonographer with experience across MSK, obstetrics and vascular. It would be advantageous to have experience using a Philips Epiq 7. They will run to your appointment times. Previous locums have had the greatest experience. You can choose to work full time hours, part time hours or casually. Accommodation and travel support can be discussed. There is a radiologist on site daily, meaning you are fully supported in your role.
Duties you will be responsible for:
- Perform high quality ultrasound examinations
- Follow the practice protocols
- Ability to provide guidance and direction as required
- Maintain the equipment on site, ensuring it is fit for purpose
Skills and Experience:
- Full ASAR
- Correct working rights for Australia.
- All relevant immunisations including COVID vaccinations
- Practical, clinical, and interpretive skills to obtain high quality images
- Have a high level of commitment to your own professional development
