A little about the role:
Our hospital client is seeking a locum radiographer for casual night shifts, commencing ASAP. You will be working in an ED trauma setting, commencing most shifts at 11:30 pm and working until 7:30 am (shifts may vary). The role requires are general radiographer however CT experience will be highly regarded. Ideally you with have experience operating Cannon, Fuji, Shimadzu, however this is not essential. This role will suit someone based in Melbourne as travel and accommodation support is not required. You will be supported by a friendly team.
Shifts commencing Sunday August 1, 2021
Duties you will be responsible for:  

  • Perform General X-ray’s in an ED trauma setting
  • Perform CT scans (desirable not essential)
  • Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations
  • Work autonomously and without supervision and within a multi-modality team
  • Work to protocols and procedures
  • Comply with WHS and Radiation safety policy and procedures
  • Ability to operate Cannon, Fuji, Shimadzu machines  

Skills and Experience:  

  • General radiography experience is essential
  • AHPRA registration
  • Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • VIC Radiation licence
  • Current police clearance – conducted within the last 12 months
  • Proof of flu vaccination
  • Knowledge of Carisma out of Kestral
