What do you love about Aussie Locums?

The team. It is such a supportive and fun environment. Everyone is willing to get in and help to achieve our goals.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment in your job?

Speaking with our candidates. I love hearing about their day. We recruit a range of different professions so hearing what others day involves is interesting.

Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?

I would love to think that the work I do for our candidates takes away any nervousness or stress they may be feeling and that they go into their new role feeling very confident.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?

That there is no time like the present. Rather than putting something off because it is new and unknown, just jump in and give it a try.

If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?

I believe they would say that I am happy, professional and always up for a laugh.

What is the most unusual work-related task you have ever had?

My most unusual work-related task is actually one of my favourite tasks. We were asked to decorate the office with Christmas decorations while eating pizza and creating an Instagram reel. We had the Christmas carol’s playing and it was an afternoon full of great food and plenty of laughs.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?

Being a part of the Wheels of Wellness Christmas Lunch. We volunteered to prepare and serve the meals. I have never worked for a company that is so dedicated to giving back to our community as much as Aussie Locums, so that was a first for me. It was such a fulfilling experience and seeing the pure joy it bought to the people around us, I will cherish that experience for a very long time.
