What do you love about Aussie Locums?
I love the close-knit team and that we truly care about our clients and candidates, rather than just making a placement.
What is your greatest source of enjoyment in recruitment?
I really enjoy seeing photos and hearing stories of our candidates’ travels around Australia through Aussie Locums, especially when they get to go to a bucket list location such as Norfolk Island.
Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?
I add value by assisting candidates with the Aussie Locums registration process, talking them through Timesheets Online and gathering their first day information and other work details in a timely manner.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?
Never turn down an opportunity to learn something new. Every piece of knowledge you get can make a difference in both your personal life and professional career.
If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?
I have been described as kind and helpful. I am always happy to assist in any situation as best as I can.
What is the most unusual work-related task you have ever had?
I think the most unusual thing I have done at Aussie Locums is trialing a 21 day ‘Vibe Me Up’ challenge (designed by a Cairns local) before it was released to the public. It was a super cool daily activity to do both individually and as part of a team. It really made me think and open my mind.
Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?
Starting a job with Aussie Locums where we do cake for birthdays, wine and cheese every Thursday afternoon and you are truly appreciated by your team.
Is there a client, candidate or project that stands out?
For me, I would have to say assisting in the project management of our office expansion. Not a super unique task however, but something I have never done before and quite enjoyed.
