Cardiology – Working in the UK & Ireland
Cardiac Technician, Echocardiographer and Cardiac Sonographer Jobs!!!
It has almost become a right of passage for Australian and New Zealand Cardiac Techs to head to the UK and spend a couple of years working and travelling seeing the wonderful sights of Europe. Not much has changed apart from the great exchange rate we now have over there. At Aussie Locums, our staff are committed to making your dreams come a reality and we can help you in every step on the way.
We have agencies in the UK that cover not only London, but all the cities and towns throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. And whether you’re looking for a 2 week locum or a full time permanent role, we will have the options available to you BEFORE you arrive in Europe.
Before you leave the country, our consultants will ensure that you have all the necessary documentation in order so you can literally start work the next day after you arrive. There are a few things that you will need to do starting about 6 months before you travel and we have identified the main ones below.
Visa — The majority of Australians and New Zealanders will need a visa to allow them to work in the UK. There are several types of visas including a Youth Mobility Visa, which allows you to work for 2 years, and an ancestry visa which provides a 5 year work visa if you have a grandparent born in the UK. See the British High Commission website for more information on these and other visas.
Our mission at Aussie Locums is to ensure that you are cared for before you travel so you can be free to enjoy the wonderful experience of working overseas. Our consultants provide a detailed personal service and will have you communication with our UK offices well in advance of your departure date. To start the ball rolling, click here and let’s get you on your way!
