How to Register as Physiotherapist in Australia
Australia has a National Registry of Health Practitioners, which means that once registered, you are able to practice throughout the entire country. You can apply for your National Registration by visiting www.ahpra.gov.au
To comply with the Australian Standard, you will also need to have your skills assessed by the APC (Australian Physio Council).
Special Requirements with Different Visa Types
Requirements differ depending on what visa you are travelling on.
Apply to the relevant state board for conditional/provisional registration to practice as a Physiotherapist for up to 3 months in any one position in that State.
NB: Not all States have this category of registration.
